Course Description & Objectives

Miscommunication is the hidden tax on dental practices. This leadership workshop teaches morning huddle structures, closed-loop messaging, constructive feedback, and conflict resolution techniques tailored to chairside and front-office teams.

Participants practice difficult conversations—schedule changes, performance gaps, and doctor–team expectation resets—using frameworks that protect culture while raising standards.

Module 1

Communication Architecture

  • Morning huddle agenda that shares numbers, celebrations, and bottlenecks in under fifteen minutes
  • Closed-loop requests: who owns the task, by when, and how completion is confirmed
  • Chairside–front desk handoff scripts for next appointments and financial conversations
  • Digital versus verbal orders: reducing errors in lab cases and aligner submissions
Module 2

Feedback, Conflict & Culture

  • SBI (Situation–Behavior–Impact) feedback model for peer and leadership conversations
  • De-escalation when patients or teammates are frustrated in open reception areas
  • Setting team norms for punctuality, phone coverage, and sterilization support
  • Action plans when recurring friction appears between doctors and coordinators
