Treatment Coordinator Training

Build a confident TC role that supports doctors and closes care ethically

Treatment Coordinator Training

Course Description & Objectives

Treatment coordinators are the bridge between clinical diagnosis and scheduled care. This course trains coordinators to understand orthodontic and restorative terminology, organize case folders, facilitate financial conversations, and maintain momentum when patients need time to decide.

Participants learn the daily rhythms of a high-volume TC: morning huddles, same-day consult support, insurance pre-authorizations, contract preparation, and structured follow-up that respects patient autonomy.

Key Curriculum Highlights

  • TC daily checklist, consult room setup guide, and financial worksheet templates
  • Role-play scenarios for insurance limitations and extended decision timelines
  • Metrics coordinators should review weekly with the practice owner
  • Certificate of completion for HR files and performance reviews
